I was looking for a small, tranquil place with awesome Thai food. This place was so crowded you could barely make it to your table. Noisy, noisy, no dinner conversation in this place. No Thai food either, that was a disappointment. What they did serve is, I believe, called Fushion, very odd offering. Plenty of folks who seemed to enjoy... More

The Golden Triangle is a cozy, welcoming subsection of the East by Southwest Restaurant in Downtown Durango. At least weekly its my go to location for Asian fare and attentive service. The food is consistently great and first rate service (I always sit at the bar which has built in cooler discs to keep beverages cold) from the staff. If... More

We've eaten a lot of Thai food in various cities, but this has got to be the best we've ever eaten. I've never had such superb pad thai. My husband and our friend had other dishes and were as delighted with them as I was with mine. The waitress was knowledgeable about heat levels of food and about the food... More

The coconut/lime chicken soup was to die for, soooo good! I had the teriyaki salmon I had on mashed garlic potatoes looked like some thing from a five star restaurant, and was so good. My husbands shrimp tempura was great also, and Zachary saw to it we were well taken care of! Price was about $20 each not bad

I had the best mojito ever!! It was made from scratch right in front of me. Loved the mason jar presentation. They had different flavors of mojitos and said they offer fresh peach mojitos in the summer. I am going back to get them.

Golden Triangle is a sweet addition to East by Southwest. I love sitting in the bar area of the Golden Triangle. Great service, great sushi, great experience. Love the mojitos (can't just have one). Always have a hand grenade. East by Southwest Roll is a must. Also love unique items on the menu that you cannot get anywhere else.

Excellent thai food in Durango. If you have a cold and need an emergency pick me up - the street vendor noodles are my go-to remedy. Very hip and trendy bar, good drinks. Service can be hit or miss, depending on how busy the entire restaurant is (shares staff with East by Southwest). Not cheap, but reasonable prices for quality... More

We chose this restaurant because we had found it to have 5 star ratings on other review sites. Maybe we were expecting too much. The phad thai wasn't anything extraordinary --it was good, but just didn't seem like it was worthy of the 5 stars we had hoped it would live up to. Tasty, but didn't seem authentic. When the...
