If you are looking for a memorable meal, this is the place. At every level, the experience exceeded our high expectations. The menu is a literary work of art...with food descriptions that awaken your appetite. The service was splendid in the quiet, comfortable and casual manner of a small bistro. The beverage selections were exquisite compliments to the meal. Chef... More

Been too bottle and beast couple of times now. The decor and ambiance is beautiful, and the restaurant is fairly small which gives it a charm. Service has always been good, and food is tasty and nicely presented. I personally enjoy the smaller portions offered at the restaurant, I often find American restaurants over serve, which is not appetising in... More

Saturday brunch was delightful. Sat outside on the protected porch; good neighborhood views with the imposing Denver skyline in the background. I had the corned-lamb-shank hash and my wife had the pork-shoulder tostada, both supplemented by a liter of house red (a Hungarian blend; nice). Both dishes were absolutely wonderful, as was the service. Next r4eview will be dinner. Can't... More

A work colleague of mine recommended this place for my wife & I to have a nice dinner prior to a concert one recent week night. TripAdvisor gave it high marks so off we went. We started with the meat & cheese board with two glasses of wine. Not bad. We enjoyed the cured meats and really enjoyed the cheese... More

3.5 hours for 4 courses is just too long for me, especially when the server has little interest in your experience. The assistants serving water had more interest in us than our server. And when we finally asked for the check, the server ignored us as we walked out the door! The food? Presentations were lovely and the small plates... More

The ambiance and service are way above average but the food was underwhelming. When you charge a small fortune for dinner ( $350 for 4 of us including tip and drinks) you expect your meal to be amazing. It was a bit hit or miss for the 4 of us. We ordered 3 appetizers. The flatbread was tasty, the meat... More

We had not been here since the restaurant changed hands long ago as the former place was too noisy. Acoustical tiles appears to have changed that. What a great meal we had. My wife's flounder was perfect. Souffle starter was perfect. Side dishes and other starters (which we had with the meal) were unique and incredibly tasty. Dessert was delicious... More

The experience was a mainly positive one, that was just a bit rough around the edges. Food was good, but lacked a certain something to take it over the edge of amazing. Service was good, but then they asked my husband to move to accommodate a bad setup that they had with the tables and chairs. It was tasty, but... More

The Beast and Bottle is a neighborhood restaurant with attentive and knowledgeable staff and delicious small plates with an interesting menu. Locally owned and operated. We enjoyed our food and time there. It's an upscale, hip but unpretentious restaurant. I'd easily recommend this to anyone that likes delicious and creative food.
