Met a friend fro lunch - he got here on light rail I drove. As it happened we both had very similar lunches - hs a bugger with cheese -mine the reuben burger: both were very good. Service was fine, table was comfortable, all of...More

Cool place. The yak was awesome. The service was awesome. The prices are super high. Wasn't impressed with the Rocky Mountain oysters. But the yak, buffalo were great! The sweet sauce on the elk wasn't my thing... I'd suggest the garlic butter version.

Sadly, I chose Buckhorn Exchange to celebrate my husband's birthday a few days ago. All four of us had unappealing meals, including Cornish game hen, buffalo, elk and steak tips. Even worse, I broke out in hives all over my body within hours of dinner....More

Low rating based on value of the food and service but there are some good things to experience here. Buckhorn Exchange is a small restaurant with a lot of history, it is crammed full of very old taxidermy, relics, old pictures and a handful of...More

Took my son the night prior to his MBA graduation. Great atmosphere. Broad selections of meats and fowls. The service was excellent. It was a great experience and next time I am in Denver I will certainly visit this restaurant again.

This place was amazing!!!!! The food is totally worth the price, but definitely not a place where you would go more than once if you in town for an extended amount of time.

This isn't just a steakhouse although the Buffalo prime rib was outstanding. It's really a piece of history at the top of its game. One of a kind! Great food maybe even better service. If you want to check it out the upstairs bar has...More

This is a historic restaurant with an interesting--if cluttered--display of historical artifacts from the American West. We went for a family celebration and ordered New York strip. Ordered medium rare, it came cooked in roast form for the waiter to cut into steaks at the...More
