I have been to Angelo's several times, each time being a really good experience. The bartenders and staff are very friendly and efficient, the food is great and the drinks (cocktails, wine and beer selections) are great as well. I recently ordered raw oysters and was surprised that they had six different oysters all of which must have been harvested... More

On our way to see a show in Denver. We wanted Italian and tried Angelo's for the first time. Great location. Very Nice atmosphere. It was recommended to make reservations so we did as we had a show to get to. Glad we made the reservation! The place filled up fast. We had a great table next to an open... More

We had dinner here during our trip and had a very nice meal. The food, beverages and staff were all excellent. The steak and Gorgonzola and fettuccine dish was plentiful and flavorful. The steak was tender and the sauce was just right. They have a nice selection of specialty cocktails and their beer and wine choices are also varied. They... More

We came to Angelo's for a New Years dinner with friends and were impressed with how tasty the food was. I had never eaten at this location and I thought it only offered pizza. But they offer so much more. The oysters were fresh and tasty and the pasta is spectacular. We ran up a good bill but the meal... More

Ordered take out. Bolognese, spinach salad and soup. The bolognese was really delicious. The sauce was done well and the pasta was thick and cooked al dente. The spinach salad had fresh strawberries and pistachio with a light vinaigrette dressing. The soup was only $3 extra when added to the entree. Total was only $25 and was enough for two... More

Super friendly staff and the food is great. I go for the happy hour caesar salad and the grilled oysters for just $2 each. My only challenge was that I am a New Yorker and a pizza snob and I like super thin pizza with olive oil dripping down when you fold it in half (hard to find in Denver).... More

My daughter Lakota and i stopped in for dinner and were delighted. Call ahead because this is a popular spot. The do no accept reservations but will put you in line if you call ahead. The food is eclectic and not the standard Italian fare. We started with sour beer and grilled artichoke. The place is lively and well layed... More

We stopped in here for date night and were seated at a rickety table with a bench on one side, pretty much in a hallway to the dining room. The service was a little slow, but she did check in at appropriate times. There's a decent wine, beer, and cocktail selection. We ended up getting Italian plates, one a pappardelle... More

Enjoyed our visit to Angelo's Taverna following Patriots beating Broncos in December 2016. Very cold outside - warm and very busy inside. Thought it odd at first for a restaurant to have pizza and oysters - but decided to try both. Enjoyed both very much!

Description
Welcome to Angelo's Taverna, a continued tradition of great food and welcoming hospitality! Angelo's is now open and the renovation is complete. We are proud to be serving many of the menu items that have become favorites over the years as well as new dishes that offer our guests delicious options. Our oyster bar is shucking away fresh oysters from the west and east coast offering the best pricing in Denver, hands down! We are also grilling up our oysters with our signature Breckenridge Bourbon chipotle butter in addition to our two other choices, Original and Bacon and Gorgonzola. Come in and see us, we are looking forward to it!
