We stayed a night here in the summer of '16 during a motorcycle trip from Pennsylvania. I am now striving to get in touch with the hotel to get reservations for 2 nights this coming summer, they are apparently closed for the winter as their phone answering machine is full and they are not returning emails. We had a great... More

This place never disappoints. We always enjoy an excellent meal here. We love visiting prior to attending the theater. Be sure to stop here if you are in Creede.

This is probably the best dining in Creede. Beautiful old hotel on a nice downtown street. I went there for dinner with a small cycling group. The food and the service was excellent. I had a duck dish and it was outstanding. The 5 of us split the bill evenly & it was $28 apiece with drinks, so it was... More

dinner might be good but lunch was so-so; My hamburger was fine but my husband's salad was so wilted and looked old, I wouldn't eat it. Still, it could've been ok if the service would've been better. Too slow and not very friendly. Too bad. Loved the town though.

Our dinner exceeded our expectations. I had the steak, which was deliciously tender and perfectly cooked. My husband had the liver and onions, which he craves every once in awhile. The service was excellent with 2 very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. If you're dining before going to the theatre, be sure to go early and let them know you're... More

A hotel with a nice little restaurant. The service can be slow but the lunch entrees are good. Mostly a salad and sandwich place for lunch. The dinner menu looked very interesting. Our meals were very good but the service was slow. Very nice people, well behaved dogs allowed in the courtyard.

Only passing through Creede this trip but returned to the hotel restaurant for lunch before visiting the fascinating Rare Things gallery/shop nearby and then on to Lake City. I've been comparing Reuben sandwiches this entire road trip and this one was excellent. Kathy enjoyed her chicken Caesar salad, especially pleased by its freshness. Patio dining was pleasant on this perfect... More

Breakfast was included with our hotel reservations. I was a sit-down with individual service. The good was very good. The dinner menu prices are high for the location. We ate dinner at Arp's, which was excellent with entree prices about half of what the Creede Hotel & Restaurant charges.

From a quality sandwich for lunch at an umbrella table in the adjoining yard, to fine dining at dinner on the open-air porch (or indoors) in the evening, this old reliable destination on Main St. is one of the best things about Creede!

We ordered sandwiches. The Cuban had a little bit of dried, re-heated pork in it - pretty awful. The Rueben had a bit of corned beef, non-existent sauerkraut. The hamburger was pretty good, but I would definitely avoid the others. Go to Arps instead, or eat before you get to Creede.
