Really enjoyed this spot for lunch. They have an interesting variety of choices. The Hot roast beef and Quebec sandwich are very tasty. I recommend the almond butter cake for dessert. The always have interesting drinks.

This is off the beaten track in the downtown area and is worth a trip. Before I go further: when it is busy it is VERY LOUD: high ceiling, open design, no attempt at sound deadening (they could even put it under the table and...More

Thanks for the suggestion of putting the sound baffling under tables and chairs. We will definitely look into that and see if it helps!

We went to this restaurant after spending a few hours at Seven Falls. My friend’s dog was with us and we were happy to find out that they allowed dogs. We sat outside on the patio (of course, with a dog we couldn’t sit inside)...More

Had a great Sunday lunch! The atmosphere was wonderful and we will be going back. We had quiche, spicy shrimp soup, lavender lemonade, and chicken salad. My husband thought the chicken salad was a salad with chicken on it vs. the mayo chicken salad. It...More

This place is a great local gem. Awesome patio (though small) and cool little setting. We love to make our way in while cruising around downtown. Unique food selection, and lovely cocktails. Definitely worth a stop.

My daughter googled "cute, unique restaurants in Colorado Springs" and this one came up. We found it easily. There was a chilly pouring rain, but the atmosphere warmed us up right away. There were no tables, so we were told to stand near the back...More

I believe they do have gluten free. I know that Coquettes gluten free bakery will be moving in a block away from Shugas.

There is outdoor seating, but it's more of a funky than swanky vibe. Yes, you can see the mountains.

Description
Established in 2001. Shuga's was created by Alexius Weston as a place to hang out with great food and really inventive cocktails. She had just come from the Northwest area of the country and wanted to create a cool space where she felt comfortable. Initially focusing on Vivace espresso as a delicious mainstay, the place soon morphed into serving amazing paninis, salads, and the out-of-this-world Brazilian Coconut Shrimp Soup. The infusion of Lavender Martinis and cocktails created with care helped launch Shuga's into the forefront of the local Colorado Springs food scene.
