I went to a business conference at The Broadmoor hotel and decided to have lunch there because of its convenient location. The food was great!! Kudos to the kitchen. However, the service was dreadful. The waiter was very slow. There were two important thing that...More

Be prepared to step out of the Colorado Springs time warp and into a modern, highly sophisticated, yet traditionally well mannered 5 star environment. Reservations highly necessary but it can be way more fun to sit and eat The luxurious bar while counting Chanel bags...More

The food at the Summit is excellent and the wine list is very extensive. The somm helped us through the long list, even after they were out of our original wine choice. The wine list ranges from reasonable to expensive. The food was creative and...More

My husband had the angry trout which was really good. I had the scallops which were "light" as the server had warned - but there were only three. Drinks were ok. Atmosphere was nice. But it was pricy for what it offered.

For starters we had the mac and cheese and summit caesar, both were very good. I don't like goat cheese so I only ate one bite of the mac and cheese. We had 2 of the specials for our entrees, a fish and pork, both...More

We had a private room for about 20 people. The service was really bad. it took a long time to get everything and people's entrees arrived at different time. All of our other experiences at the Broadmoor were really good but this one was disappointing.

Great space, great food and most of all an amazing waiter named Alex from the great state of Ohio. So knowledgeable on every dish that we had an amazing meal. Sommelier even brought me a great glass of rose he had in Hungary. Who knew?

Description
A French Bistro, Summit marries French tradition with American originality. Summit's stellar menu of year-round favorites includes House Made Charcuterie, Potato Crusted Swordfish, Wagyu Beef Burger, Moules Mariniere and Hanger Steak. The ever-evolving seasonal selections find strength in a vibrant network of top-shelf vendors that provide the kitchen with the highest quality ingredients and local produce available. An extensive bar highlights local microbrews, cocktails and wines from the finest regions of the world, adding to Summit's unique assortment. Designed by acclaimed architect Adam D. Tihany, Summit's contemporary design is inspired by the grandeur of Pike's Peak and provides a stunning counterpoint to the classic elegance of The Broadmoor. Wood, metal, glass, leather and fabrics are used throughout the dining room to evoke a modern, yet natural feel suited perfectly to Summit's American brasserie menu and eclectic wine and cocktail program.
