I have driven by this place numerous times and never stopped because heard mixed things from friends. After having dinner there within the last 2 weeks, has become one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We had the same the server both times and he recognized us and remembered our drink orders during the second visit! We had the steak fajita... More

Took my wife here for her Birthday, and was treated with alert staff, very quick delivery of food, which was fantastic btw, and some complimentary desserts that were so delicious. Prices range $10-18 for an evening plate, portions are large. Try them out!

Food dishes are made from basic fresh food. "Real food flavors and taste, not drowned in sauces to cover "bad" food products as in most Restaurants. I had the "fresh" salmon grilled and basted with "Real" butter. I tasted my Daughters steak, excellent taste and texture not "crappy" like most Restaurants. This is the best Mexican food I have ever... More

We tried this restaurant last week and were surprised at the delicious food. The portions were generous, the chiken was plentiful and very moist. Staff was very attentive and polite. The restaurant was clean and the restrooms sparkled. I will definently go back to eat at this restaurant. Its's slighty off the nothern Colorado Springs (Northgate) beaten path, on the... More

We love coming here on Friday nights. We try to arrive around 5 as we can always get a huge booth that fits our family of 6 (4 teens). Our gluten free 15y/o generally has the Macho Nachos and does not go away hungry. My husband generally has the Southwest Shrimp which is spicy and filling. I usually get the... More

We thought we would try the restaurant again, second time we have dined there. With reservations, we got right in, even though there were many waiting on a Sat evening. First, the room was so cold from air conditioner, then the waiter came over hurriedly, we shared we were waiting for a few more to join us, they were parking.... More

Had a major craving for Mexican, but did not want a lot of noise ~ especially since were had invited another couple to join us. Since I had been to this restaurant many times before, I knew we would not be disappointed. It was a busy Friday night for them, but we were seated in less than 15 minutes! We... More

This would not even be considered food in my opinion, disgusting mush I wouldn't feed to my dog. Who can ruin fajitas, this place can! They were not made with steak, it was more like a nasty pot roast soaked in over salted water for days and then slopped onto the plate, taco bell probably has better quality meat than... More

My 86 & 80 year old parents wanted to celebrate their birthdays and 60th wedding anniversary here because they liked it. Well the food was terrible and the service was horrible. Food was brought out 4 plates at a time with 4-10 mins between the next delivery. We had 4 waiters for 15 people but that didn't help anything. Pitiful... More

El Padrino's is in North Colorado Springs -- good Mexican food with good service. They are reasonably priced with some tasty dishes. Service is good and if you're on the North End and want Mexican they're worth checking out!
