This place seriously has the best meatballs I have ever had. Get the pignoli meatball (they are more expensive and worth every penny). We got gluten free pasta (even though the meatballs are not) and it was great although they did not tell us it would be $4 more per plate. Unexpected but not a game changer. The red meat... More

These owners have roots all the way back to the old world way of doing Italian. The meatballs are made with pine nuts, and I have never had a better meatball.

Went here for a birthday celebration and was told when we arrived that there was only one cook and that we should plan on being there for a long time. Can't say we weren't warned. There was one other larger table and two small tables other than us, so not crowded. It took about 25 mins to get water, 1... More

I love knowing the story of how and when a restaurant got started. I always believe if there's a story, most likely there is a lot of love in that restaurant. I know that it's here. The staff was so friendly. The owners are there working hard and making sure we are taken care of. Excellent service and food! We... More

What a cute little place. The sign is fun and modern but the inside is classic and cute! The service was great and the food so fresh!

Lasagna was the best my husband has had since Little Italy in Chicago. The gluten-free spaghetti was delicious. Hubby had the salted caramel brownie for dessert - melted in his mouth. The laid-back atmosphere and excellent service made for a relaxing meal.

The food was edible, but that is the best I can say. We had several dishes between four adults, none of those were even average Italian fare. Bad night in the kitchen, maybe, but there are much better places to get your pasta fix in the Colorado Springs area.

Our server, Noel, was welcoming, authentic and engaging. My guest enjoyed spaghetti pie, which was plentiful and tasty. I chose the meatballs stuffed with pinenuts. Noel suggested that I could have one meatball with carbonara sauce and one meatball with Bolognese sauce which was the perfect combination for me. The restaurant is quaint and comfortable. No was quick to make... More

It was snowing on the day we went to lunch so there was next to no one there. It's a small place, mid block. The barkeep was very enjoyable and had excellent recommendations. The food was great and the brownie desert was the best!

We tried Dat's Italian Monday evening for my birthday dinner. This is a small restaurant so any group larger than 6 makes things tight. We had two children with us and ordered their meals right a way and the restaurant did a good job of getting their food out to them. We ordered the kids spaghetti and meatballs. When it... More
