We enjoyed the warm and friendly ambiance, and the attentive service, but the food was the star of the show! Superb steak tartar served in a mason jar for a starter. Also tried calamari stuffed with chorizo sausage we liked a lot. Also, very nice beef marrow. Oh, yes: the menu had a lot of Italian dishes that looked very... More

I invited an old friend of mine to this restaurant because I've heard such good things about it. When we got there, there were only two places to sit and we chose the bar area. The server/bartender was friendly but seemed annoyed that weren't eating at a fast speed. I thought it would such an cute little place where I... More

My husband stopped by while in Carbondale. We were told they were technically 'closed' but the chef offered to make us something. All was great. Full of flavor and very authentic italian cuisine. You need to stop by if you are in the area. Wonderful service, pleasant surroundings.

Amazing dinner!! Spaghetti Carbonara was delish! Husband had Clams with red sauce. Both were amazing and filled us up! We also had wedge salads, yummy too! Red sangria with amaretto was good too. We will go back!

We celebrated my daughter's 36th birthday at Allegria. Not only was the food excellent, but Andreas, owner and chef was so generous, sending a glass of Prosecco to the table and complimentary desserts. Thank you, Andreas... we love you! Rachel

One of the best restaurants in the area. From Glenwood Springs to Aspen, you won't find a better place to eat.

Carbondale, Colorado is a very small town, barely 5 or 6 blocks long, but has many excellent restaurants. Allegria is one of my favorites. I eat there often and am always pleased by the variety and quality of the food. The ambiance is like a European bistro, warm and friendly. The owner/chef (Andreas Fischbacher) may come to your table and... More
