Noticed the past couple of ordinary reviews of this restaurant, and on my experience they are not fair. We had 2 dishes and both were very good - fresh ingredients and cooked well. Would definitely return. FYI BYO only.

This would have to be the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to. The food was inedible. I am not sure whether they have a Thai cook, but the food might have Thai names but the taste is not thai. We had takeaway and had to throw it away. It was not cheap either.l

We went here as a result of the TripAdvisor reviews. Maybe we caught a bad night but the food was dull and tasteless which as you would know is very un-thai-like. No fresh herbs etc that would normally be associated with thai food--and considering its located in the tropics . We had a couple of Pad Thai's and my son... More

Mark et al provide wonderful basic Thai food at a great price. Service is friendly and fast but depends on how busy it is. Get there early because Mission Beach in general closes at about 9pm on a busy night! But that's paradise for you.

What can I say about Nana Thai except we travel around Thailand and the best Thai we have ever eaten is right here in Mission Beach. Thanks Jo and Mark

We went there last night, my hubby had the Dunk Island Prawns and I had the Phuket Paradise. Both meals were fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

After a disappointing meal at a different 'Asian style' restaurant in Mission Beach we were hoping that Nana Thai lived up to its trip advisor reviews (unlike the other place!). It certainly did :) Our entrees were served quickly and were hot and fresh. Husbands massaman curry was tasty, though it had stirfry style meat cut rather than slowly cooked... More

I got takeaway as was travelling alone and happy to go back and eat in my room. I went back again the second night as enjoyed my prawn noodle dish so much the night before. Had Laksa, which was also very good.

Another great restaurant at Mission Beach. The cafe is very lay back but the food was terrific. One dish was definitely plenty for 2 people. The owner/waiter was very friendly.

Not particularly prepossessing from the outside, and its byo only which is a bit of a pain, but the food is absolutely first class. The best meal I have had in over 2 weeks traveling in QLD. The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole experience is low stress and relaxed. Go there!

Thank Balwyn
