This place has been under new ownership for awhile and they SHOULD have a well oiled place going on. Really wanted to like this place, but done wasting time and money. The music was so loud inside (you couldn't converse with the person right next to you), that we tried to sit outside, but the cigarette smoke was so bad... More

Interesting to see an old west Saloon tuned up into a trendy spot. Great entertainment if you're ready for that. We stop by for lunch wonderful selection of food and the service was very friendly

The Lariat was recently remodeled and now is a mix of trendy and old-style BV. A great place to get a drink, but is no longer the old cowboy bar it was. Beautifully remodeled, it now offers a fine menu and a huge selection of beers. A great room in the back for bands and fun late-nights. Play pool or... More

We decided to try this place for lunch on Sunday. I am always on guard for the "brew pub" place that focuses on the brew and misses on the food. Not here: I had one if the best pork burritos ever... house made green chili is awesome. It was pretty quiet on Sunday noon but I suspect it rocks at... More

Don't let the name fool you. I would not consider this establishment to be a cowboy bar. It's the happening place in BV, especially on Friday night. Great music, good food, good service and a nice selection of craft beers on tap. Pubfare menu offering a good variety of entries and starters. Prices are reasonable and what you would expect... Great remodel. Lots of Colorado beer on tap. Tasty food with some unique offerings. Try the grilled cheese with avocado, egg and bacon.

This is a fun place to stop in for drinks and a quick bite. They have live music at times and there is a pool table. We ordered various appetizers. Their wings are good and the kids enjoyed the grilled cheese. Nice selection of local beers and they make some nice beverages. I have the grapefruit margarita.

The Lariat went through a major remodel several months ago and was transformed from a bar serving food into a fun, open air pub style restaurant with live music most nights. They kept the historic aspects of the building intact and added a little steam punk style to the furnishings. There are two outdoor eating areas in addition to the... More

The Lariat has undergone some impressive renovations! It has outdoor seating in front and in back, live entertainment many nights--good music! But what brings me back is the food--fresh trout, local specialties--you will like it if you want a cool bar scene and good eats.
