First, the Dim Sum here is very good. The staff is attentive, sort of, and the place seems busy whenever we go. The only thing lacking is the selection of Dim sum - mostly the basics here: steamed buns, sticky rice, etc. Not much seafood even though they have tanks of fish - would be nice to have shrimp etc.

We've eaten here a few times, and enjoy stopping at this location when we are in the area. Unfortunately they stopped serving our favorite rib dish, but we tried the Deep fried ribs with garlic and it was excellent. We always try a different dish to see what elegant spin the chef has conjured up. Last night we also enjoyed... More

This place is now called the New Emperor Palace and no longer Newport. A very large percentage of the clientele is Chinese. A very good indication of quality. We were bombarded with food carts even before we sat down-but warning the most expensive cart comes first and with heavy promotion. Plates range in cost from $7 down to about $3... More

Ate here just last month (5/2013) and this restaurant was called Empire Palace. So if all is same this was one of the best meals at the best price we have ever had. The dim sum was great (love those chicken feet in a jalapeno sauce!!!!). There were five of us and we had five dishes from the chef's specials... More

The venue is quite large for an Asian restaurant north of Denver. Another review observed that this is a new place. Actually, it's a new name for a former Mr. Steak (~25 years ago), an Armadillo (~10 years ago). It has had at least one previous Chinese restaurant incarnation. It's at the edge of a complex once anchored by an... More

There's not much authentic dim sum restaurant in Denver area so this one is OK. Saturdays and Sundays always crowded. I was here 3 times for dim sum and it was always packed simply there's not much dim sum restaurant around. Well, for family, it's good once in a while to eat out and taste the tradition food and culture... More

I should say that the staff and chef are from southern china - and I ordered northern chinese dishes. The restaurant had many tables with Chinese customers (good sign), and the staff spoke Mandarin and Cantonese. On my visit I dined alone, and ordered some of my normal favorites. Now I know each chef has his/her own style, but it's... More

Great new dim sum place in Broomfield. Friendly, new, immaculate restaurant. Wide range of offerings both from the many carts and extensive menu. Fun for a large party.
