The Dredge is a cool place to visit...the restaurant a model of the last working dredge in the area (which is buried in the silt under the restaurant). There are interesting artifacts and pieces of the old dredge hanging from the walls and ceiling. However, the food offered is extremely overpriced and the quality of the food isn't great. Our... We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I walked in and told I group I expected it to be more touristy than tasty and am happy to say I was wrong. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was good. Kids will like walking over a bridge to the dredge in the middle of a lake.

This place has lots of mixed reviews; but most bad reviews occur during extremely busy times of the seasons. What makes this place great is, I ate here during spring break the busiest time of the year and they took reservations the day of which is extremely hard to come by this time of the year. Just because they took... More

Joined friends in Breck for dinner. Nice atmosphere and good service, but the food was average at best. Had venison/quail/buffalo sausage special. Venison was to be cooked medium rare as recommended by the server - it was past medium and tough to cut. The quail was OK, but not that great. Buffalo sausage was not bad. Overall just not a... I have read some bad reviews of The Dredge. We actually had a nice experience, and the food was not great but is was OK. Although there are lots of restaurants in Breck, we did not had an unforgettable experience in any of them.

The food and service were OK but we were disappointed in the limited menu. Items advertised in local magazines were not actually available. One advantage is that they can accommodate large groups.

This restaurant is a replica of an old dredge and is located on the river thru town. The menu has many choices and our group of 6 people had ample choices and everyone enjoyed dinner. Prices were reasonable and service was good.

Atmosphere was good in prime time cuz nobody was there except in the bar upstairs. We now know why... Most of the feed was cold. Likely frozen vegetables. Steak was average+ but barely warm. The Oscar topping was nothing special and pretty slim. The special was Swordfish and was pretty good but cant say much for the rest of the... More
