The view is incredible! The peach sangria with champagne is the best cocktail I've ever had anywhere! The Brussels sprouts are to die for! Service is fabulous! You have to try it!

This restaurant is a lesson in history of the Boulder area and a place to get a delicious lunch too. The building brings you back in history as soon as you walk through the door. It's fabulous. The lunch menu offers breakfast, plates to share, soups, salads and sandwiches. I had the salmon burger and it was absolutely scrumptious. The... More

Had a great meal here, tried several appetizers, including a charcuterie platter & truffle fries. Had a burger as well that was very good. Charming atmosphere.

Warm welcome, great service, warm fire, food to order exactly what we asked for and the shake in a pint bottle was amazing. Lovely omelette, salad, poached eggs, fruit cups, salads, burgers, fries, coffees and shakes. Nothing too much trouble. Would happily visit weekly if we lived closer.

The restaurant has quite an extensive history which is recounted on the menu. It is a relatively small menu but had a few interesting dishes. The Dining Hall is a flashback to my university days with nearly every table filled with students and parents....but beware...Mexican spices crop up on almost every dish so much hotter than you anticipate. Worth going... More

You might be tempted to put the dining hall in the same category as a dormitory cafeteria. But that would be a mistake, even though the Colorado Chautauqua does have an educational mission. We ate there 3 times - one lunch, one breakfast, and one happy hour. The food is really quite good. They don't have an extensive menu. But... More

Visiting an Aunt who lives in Boulder. This is her spot for snuggly sofas by the fireplace, beer and soup for an afternoon. We loved it. The warmth of the fireplace was perfect. Now, one might think the sofas are the waiting area....but we loved her favorite spot. Thinking out of the ordinary. Take the drive up the mountain, enjoy... More

Every time I have come here it has been a very welcome, relaxing meal that lets me really enjoy the surroundings and the company I am in. The dining hall is located in a really beautiful spot in the hill in Boulder, just minutes from busy Pearl Street but a world away. Myself and my dining companions have always been... More
