Me and a couple buddies decided to check this place out. The structure is amazing to see all on it's own. Then add wonderful tea and great appetizers and you have the perfect way to spend an afternoon. If you want to do high tea - you must make a reservation. Great place to catch up with friends or work... More

We sat outside on the patio by the creek. It was very pleasant, and everyone was happy with their food, and the tea. We have been there twice in the last few weeks, and it was great both times.

The food here was excellent. Our waiter might have considered putting on a shirt one size larger as a few buttons were busting through- I only mention it because it made an otherwise professional restaurant come off a bit sloppy. Absolutely loved my meal here and the tea is incredible! Beautiful place too!

The food is consistent and good. The tea selection and quality is over the top amazing. The interior and exterior is exquisite ... a real treasure ... and a must see when visiting Boulder. It's my go to place to dine with my son and his young family. The staff is warm and welcoming, too. Home away from home ...... More

The food is excellent -- but the real treat is viewing this wonderful gift from the people of Dushanbe to the people of the US in Boulder! Dozens of artists in villages created paintings, metal sculptures, carved wooden pillars and ceiling beams, tiles, plasters, and fabric to perfect a teahouse -- a community gathering place -- and send it to... I live in Boulder and I come here quite a lot, because the ambiance can't be beat. The food is very yummy and it's just a gorgeous, healing place to spend time. I like to come during the week in the morning when it's quiet -- it can get a little crazy on the weekends.

The Dushanbe Teahouse is a dazzlingly beautiful and authentic Tajikistan teahouse from Boulder's sister city of Dushanbe. The restaurant has an extensive selection of tea (of course) as well as tea paraphernalia for sale. The food is uneven. I tend to go there at least once a month. Sometimes the food is fabulous and other times not so much. My... More

We visited here whilst visiting our son. We had to wait for a table but once seated the service was excellent. The tea menu is extensive with descriptions of each drink. The brunch menu is varied and the portions as you expect in this part of the USA ample. Definitely worth a visit.

We just went this past Sunday for a late lunch ... it was delicious. The host was somewhat snooty but his assistant and everyone else was great - our server the best! "Ornate landmark shipped piece by piece from Tajikistan & rebuilt creekside" - Dushanbe, Tajikistan, is Boulder's Sister City which is why they picked the location for the landmark.... More

The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is nestled against the Rocky Mountain Foothills in Boulder Colorado. Sitting alongside Boulder Creek in Central Park, the Teahouse is considered one of Boulder's most attractive and popular tourist attractions, as well as being a local favorite for great food, tea, and atmosphere.

Completely built by hand without the use of any power tools, the Teahouse was constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan as a gift to their sister city, Boulder. It was disassembled, crated up, and sent halfway around the world to be rebuilt in Boulder as a symbol of friendship and cultural exploration. The elaborate and creative teahouse now sits as a reminder to the citizens of Boulder to value cultural diversity, global cooperation, and international friendship.
