Thought we would try this place with our daughter to celebrate the end of her study year. Water was given, without any suggestion we might like other drinks. Pad Thai for 1 person ok. Served 1st, when we had ordered a starter of curry puffs, which were ok, but doesn't it come with a sauce? When asked a bottle of... More

I am a lover of Thai food. I think I was a Thai in one of my past lives or something. I tend to try out a Thai restaurant in any city I am in. So I was delightfully surprised when a friend brought me to dine at Ying Thai 2 (Thaiger Rabbit). We ordered the tomyum and pad see... More

We went here for lunch a few weeks ago. It was the first time we had been here since the move further up Victoria St I had the papaya salad, which was just ok, and wifey had the Pad thai, which also was nothing special With so many eating options in this street, we'd be hard pressed to go here... Despite the food being ok. There were a few issues dining here. Firstly it's cash only which isn't mentioned at the time of booking and the nearest ATM is a walk away. The service was friendly but a little slow. We received our drinks when the food came. Finally sitting upstairs the restaurant is extremely noisy. A couple of noisy... More

Went there something like five times in my six months stay in Melbourne. Good place for a late dinner with friends. The service is not the best and the place is what it is, but the food is not bad and the portions are massive. We didn't like the Pad Thai though, it was too salty and spicy. We loved... More

Whilst some of the dishes at this restaurant are ok, when it comes to the seafood dishes and soups they are left wanting! The seafood consists of seafood sticks and horrible looking octopus! I won't go here again! Seafood should consist of some fish, but using cheap seafood sticks, and inedible little octopus that's inexcusable.

The food was terrible. We got takeaway and had to throw it out after one bite is was so inedible. Would never try it again and I normally love any kind of thai food.

The crispy skin pork salad is the best. The restaurant offers so many authentic Thai dishes. Love it!
