It seems not many know about this area. We heard about it through random people we met. Doesn't seem as busy as many trails around. It's easy but there are stretched of up hill and rocks. Takes about 3 hours

Piney River Ranch and Lake in the White River National Forest is a great September afternoon-- beautiful, hike and terrific home smoked pulled pork sandwiches, with homemade barbecue sauce, local beer at a lakeside picnic table...doesn't get any better.
