Exceeded our high expectations. The chicken under a brick was fantastic and the ravioli (one giant piece) was excellent. The service was great too, from the initial greeting to bidding us goodnight. The portions were a little small, so try an appetizer.

Had a great meal at Bottega. Everything was delicious. Had a round table for 8 people which was fabulous. Great atmosphere though restaurant is a bit dark. Spent about 70$ per person for dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Napa Valley is a "Go To" place for great wines, winery tours, and fantastic dining experiences. And going to Michael Chiarello's "Bottega Restaurant" in Yountville, Ca. is one of those must do dining adventures. Every time we are in the Napa Valley, it is a must to have lunch or dinner at Bottega's. We went for lunch on April 21,... More

All the dishes leading up to the main course were barely even ok. My main course of short ribs, was delicious, but it took so long to receive it, that my group was ready to give up and leave before we received it. Very disappointing.

We were a large group at two tables. The fireplace outside on the patio was a bit too warm so they graciously accommodated one of the tables of 7 inside. Food was great, service exceptional and attentive. Nice choices of wines, cocktails a bit pricey. The pastas were amazing. We ate here on our first night in town and it... More

very nice place and staff are warm and friendly, i assume the pasta are handmade --- perfectly imperfect but with unforgettable bite! wander around the area and shop right in front while waiting for your table. you can have sampling of their flavored oils and herbed dips

First off, the service was perfect: confident, attentive, conversational, and direct on recommendations. Second, the food was excellent. We started with a short rib meatballs that I would highly recommend. Then the carrot and pea risotto which was a great size for four to share and tasted great. It was hearty without being heavy or overly creamy. And finally, the... More

It was not too busy for lunch. Plenty of choices on the menu. Very good service. Highly recommend the roasted carrot risotto. Overall a little pricey.

Beautiful restaurant and we were very happy with every course. The Pollo Alla Diavola Sul Mattone (chicken under a brick) was my favorite entree of our Napa/Sonoma trip. Service was a little lacking.

Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. An award winning chef/vintner & Food Network host, Chiarello celebrates his Italian roots and the Napa Valley with a menu echoing his long practice of using the finest locally/sustainably produced food. Located in Yountville, in the heart of the Napa Valley, Bottega’s extensive wine list represents hard-to-find favorites of the Valley and interesting Italian selections. Chiarello restored the integrity of an old 1800’s estate by uncovering beautiful hard wood floors, timber beams, old brick walls and windows. The inviting dining room is accented with reclaimed antiques, warm fabrics and eclectic light fixtures lending to the restaurant’s old world comfort.
