We'd taken the bus from Valencia to try the local cuisine and take a boat trip. We ended up at Bon Aire and enjoyed the experience. Thee menu of the day was well priced at €20. We got a selection of starters including squid, mussels, tuna salad, ham and cheese and local breads. These were all well cooked. We shared... More

Family run small Gulf front hotel. Staff helpful. The tiki bar has best burgers on the beach. Older but not rundown. Renovations n progress but do not bother the guests. Can b a little noisy during season if your room is next to bar, but these are all returning guests catching up on their year apart. Can rent long term... More

We had lunch there on a Sunday, with two small children. The food was really good, especially the senyoret paella and the homemade dessert. And they were really kind with the children, which, unfortunately, does not happen everywhere. I would really recommend it! Oh, and really nice "all&pebre" too!!!

We came here during a trip in palmar. Nothing special at all. I'd avoid going there are many better places to have fish and paella.

We have been here in august 2015. Me, my wife and 2 kids (13 and 11 at the time). Since we were in the paella capital of the world we ordered paelle and for my son a steak because he doesn't like paella. It does take a while before the paella is served but that just means it is freshly... More

A nice lunch in this friendly restaurant close to the marshes. We had arroz a banda (rice with small squids) but it was too salty. We should have chosen the Valenciana paëlla with chicken: we saw it and seemed delicious!

Came here for lunch on Valencia day and had a fantastic meal of pescaditos (the best I've ever tasted) ensalada valenciana and a paella mixto. A short journey from town and a beautiful sunny little village in the heart of the Albufera National Parc. Loved it.

Have had other Paella in Spain but nothing compares to Bon Aire. Great value as well. Will definitely go there again.

This is a lovely restaurant in the middle of the village of El Palmar, which is said to be the birthplace of paella. My girlfriend and I booked a table for two for a Sunday lunchtime, which included the option to pick the type of paella we wanted in advance as otherwise it can take longer to cook. This was... About 10 years ago, I was biking south of Valencia in a region call the Albufera. It's a laguna full of birds. A very good place for bird watching and hunting in season. May be some people will remember the novels of the valencien writer Blasco Ibanez who take some time la Albufera as decor. This area use to be... More
