Excellent restaurant. The Sushi was excellent with amazing presentation. The restaurant ambiance is very good. Service was also good. We had dinner for four and tried several dishes, all were terrific. Crispy rice was outstanding

an old but goody. The front porch is fantastic for private events. Spicy Tuna on crispy rice is a MUST! also the Crab hand rolls are addicting. This used to be impossible to get into and all of the celebrities. Now the Celebs go who don't need the scene. It is always great and fantastic food.

Went with a group of 8. The sushi was good and unique. Everyone raved over the crispy rice with tuna on top. Very nice atmosphere and service. They do serve the food as it is ready, so the food is coming at all different times. If you only like very plain sushi, this is not the place. Everything is flavorful... More

We went here for dinner one saturdsy night. The atmosphere is quite nice. We tried several sushi rolls including the yellowtail tuna with scallions, shrimp tempura and lobster and crab. They were all very delicious only weird part is that they have 3 kitchens so your food comes out at different times. It is ok if your sharing, if not... More

Great food, presentation, service and wine. We were highly recommended to try Koi while in California by one of our foodie friends and we were glad we did. Every dish we tried was better than the next. The raw and cooked fish dishes were melt in your mouth good and beautifully presented. When we called we advised that it was... More

I was only in LA for one night and was recommended this restaurant by a friend. We booked the restaurant through our hotel and arrived to have welcome drinks provided by the hotel (Chamberlain). The restaurant has a really cool feeling and feels private. The food was just incredible! Possibly one of the best meals I've ever had. The staff... More

I absolutely loved this place. Being Australians, we have the likes of Nobu back home, so I was super excited to try this place instead of Nobu down the road, and it was incredible. Highly recommend.

Hubby and I loved this place! After enjoying excellent appetizers had the best Beef Carpaccio we have ever had!!!!!! And the sable fish (aka black cod) was delicate and buttery! No reservations and just in town for one night. Our hotel suggested a place across the street but this restaurant looked so appealing we hopped across the street. We were... More

Sushis and rolls were awesome, but don't order the filet mignon, not their specialty! Very good desserts, especially the crème brûlée ! Nice service and atmosphere, but it is overall overpriced

The service was amazing our server was really helpful. I think for what you get it isn't worth the money. We got two special rolls that were only 5 pieces each! And each roll was about 20bucks. I would still go back but only after I already ate. As I left hungry.

Koi Los Angeles is a sophisticated blend of feng shui and modern elegance. Illuminated by candlelight, the natural and intricate details of the restaurant create an elegant dining atmosphere, while the Zen inspired design of earth-toned colors, sleek design, fireplaces and waterscapes all create a stunning atmosphere of harmony by combining subtly luxurious materials with nature’s elements of water, air, fire and light.
At Koi, chefs deconstruct traditional Japanese preparations and respectfully re-imagine them, by infusing modern California accents. Sushi chefs and the kitchen staff derive their inspiration from each other resulting in creations like the signature Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna); the Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crabmeat is wrapped in a thin rice crepe paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection.
