Built on a slope, and wedged in between a gas station and the affiliated motel, the cafe has more than a counter and a handful of booths. The back of the cafe hangs over the slope with many tables and a view. Comfort food is...More

Our whole family was in Shasta for youngest son's wedding. The children had been there for lunch the year before when we were staying a cabin in Weed. They returned to the cabin raving about the food. So naturally, they wanted to return when we...More
Talk about a gem of a eatery!! Super friendly and efficient staff and truly the best corn beef hash I have ever eaten. The potatoes I had with the hash were so tasty and well prepared and there was more than enough on my plate...More
I had a free coffee token from lodging at a nearby place so breakfast was a no brainier. A classic diner with big portions. It's old and quirky, but clean. I think this is a local spot simply because of the customers dining which tells...More

A must stop when in Weed. My second visit. Really warm and welcoming staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is fantastic. Home cooking but better.
Hi 888kenneth, we have been around for over 65 years in the same family. We are glad we made you feel right at home. Take care.
This was an unexpected find in the little town of Weed. Keep your eyes open, you could miss it as you fly off of the I-5 into the bitty down town. Service was excellent and the food was better than most. My hubby gobbled up...More
Hi Teresa, It was great to read your review. Sounds like the Cinnamon Roll could have been better; sorry. I bet if you had the opportunity to heat it up it would have made it tastier. We make them fresh every couple of days.
Good to visit this local place that clearly knows it's locals as they walk in the door. Service was friendly and the pie we had was good. We left with a bitter taste in our mouth (excuse the pun) when we saw they charged $2.50...More
Sorry Elizabeth for your ice tea experience. I am sorry you feel you were ripped off. Our prices are very competitive with the local market. We are looking to improve the quality of our ice tea, for that I apologize. We are looking for a...More
