The wait staff are attentive and friendly. Nice variety of food choices. The restaurant is attractive. And there is NO loud music.

I've had lunch there many times. Food is good. Wish they had a better description of the sushi on the menu but we've never been disappointed. Service is good but not great. Keep going back though.

We enjoyed dinner at Miraku courtesy of a recommendation from a relative. The booth we had at dinner allowed for great conversation. The waiter advised us well on our food choices and I want to go back for the "salt" salmon dinner. The green tea ice cream is served in metal bowls that must have been frozen to help the... More

I have been coming to MIRAKU for over 25 years and Fumio, the sushi chef is one of the best! He over sees the fish and has been here for over 30 years! The kimono clad waitresses have also been here for this amount of time, attending to your every need. Home made gyoza is a favorite as is the... More

Miraku is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Walnut Creek's major retail area, but close enough to walk from BART. One step inside the door and you will be nicely surprised by the calming Japanese decor and you are greeted by a welcoming hostess. Most of the seating is in comfortable private booths along the perimeter, with just... More

We were looking for a sushi bar to have a light dinner near the BART station and settled on Miraku on N. Broadway. It is right amongst car dealerships and service shops. A warning bell was ringing through as the restaurant is 'faux Japanese'!!!!! The tuna sashimi had a slight off colour and the sushi rice was al dente with... More

This restaurant is a very well established. With food prices have been going up and up, they still maintain good quality and quantity. And they continue serve free edamame appetizer and ice cream. The service is always very good.

We ended up at this restaurant because it was within close walking distance of the Marriott and it was open on a holiday weekend. First impression is that the atmosphere is sorely lacking. The dining room had old, worn-out carpet and it didn’t look like a place where the sushi would be good. The food, surprisingly, was very good. I... More

This is an authentic Japanese restaurant owned by a Japanese family where you can experience a good atmosphere and great food.
