I never give a perfect 5 star but this little hole in the wall does it all. Servico with a smile and adittude Menú is in Spanish with English translation. On the wall is a sign in Spanish; "Abro cuando llego y cierro cuando me voy" which means "I open when I get here and close when I leave" consider... More

I had been planning to enjoy again the cuisine of San Salvador. It must have been 5 or 6 years since the last time and I had notice this restaurant just driving by. Tonight was just the right time to stop by.

We drove out of our way just so my family could experience pupusas for the first time and no one was sad we did. The restaurant was impeccably clean and we witnessed one of the workers sweep the floor three times in the short time we were there. The waitstaff helped recommend the best mix of pupusas that were large... More

Great pupusas, friendly atmosphere. Run by a Salvadorian native who speaks fluent English and loves to chat with customers, and his wife.

Excellent food, great service. Their mixed popusa are the best!!!! I couldn't believe they have agua de marañon.😱 marañon is an unusual fruit. Its seed, the cashew nut grows on top of it in a thick rubbery shell.

The food is always fresh and delicious, service is always good. Try their juices! This the closest to authentic I've tried in this area. Love it.

It is very easy to mess us pupusas (over cook, be stingy with the meat, etc). Fortunately, Mama Lita doesn't do this. The pupusas were decently sized and cooked perfectly. We had the pork, chicken and shrimp pupusas. I have eaten take-out here for work but this was the first time ordering for my family. The slaw was great and... More

My first time having Pupusas, well actually my first time having Salvadorian food. The restaurant is small, cute, and clean. The service was really good, the gentleman helping us was fast, helpful and made some very good food recommendations. I tried two different Pupusas, one mixed and one with zucchini. Both were very tasty, I couldn't decided which one I... More

I love the staff here -- friendly and happy to explain the menu, ingredients and preparation, if you have never had Salvadoran food. It's incredibly cheap ($2 for a pupusa; you might need 2) but they still take the time to prepare each one by hand to order. Drinks (Horchata, Jamaica, Jamarind, juices, etc) are made from scratch in the... More
