Cannot say enough great things about the food, service, and decor of this place. Came with a LARGE group, yet the service didn't suffer at all. When the cotton candy dessert arrived, it was delightful to see grown adults grinning and tearing at it while stuffing pieces into their mouths! Everything we had was fantastic - would highly recommend the... More

Three of us staggered into this beautiful 1916 former railroad depot after a long, arduous drive from San Francisco. We were tired, thirsty and very hungry but we were about to be totally refreshed and rejuvenated. First was the Depot's ambiance---restful elegance with beautifully set, well spaced tables, stained glass windows and quiet background music. Over glasses of wine we... More

I've only been here once but when I was it was great. The ambiance of the open fire and surrounds was great particularly on a chilly winters night. The service was good and the food that we had (a selection of appetisers) was delicious. I've just read some unfavourable reviews but I can only go by my one experience and... More

This place used to be one of "THE" places to have a nice dinner in town. The owners divorced with the wife taking control and it's gone down hill ever since. Don't waist your time.

Great decor and friendly service. However, unlike the Vintage Press and Jack & Charlies, this place is missing something very important - charm. The food is good albeit not great. I've been here several times in the past but I just was not that impressed during my last visit.

We enjoyed the service and the food! The presentation of the food was well done! I had one glass of red wine that came with a refill!

Sat down and was looking forward to a meal in this historic building with great architecture. The evening started with a round of drinks for the five of us. A gnat was in one of the five drinks and was returned civilly. We ordered a dozen oysters and ended up eating an oyster so RANCID that I had to run... More

Food is below par. Duck was over cooked...shrimp pasta lacking flavor. Gin and tonic horrible - service was very slow - allow time.

The Depot Restaurant was a mixed bag. When you enter, you can tell it has been around for a long time and, you can tell, they know it. It feels like a throw-back to a past era which sometimes can be very fun. However, the feeling I got is that they knew it and they were a little defensive about... More
