We love the combination of excellent food and a great view. Moonstone Grill delivered both. We didn't have a reservation on a weekday and it was still packed. We got the last seats at the bar and were served there. Excellent starters and creative dishes. Plus we benefited with happy hour drink prices because we sat at the bar.

This will take you a little out of the way about 20 mins. fro Acada but the location on the beach in Trinidad, CA is worth the trip. It is a busy place so call ahead. The food is a bit over priced for the area but it is good food done well. The service is also very good and... More

The menu selections were good but the execution wanted, e.g., plates were cold, bacon substituted for advertised pancetta, "bowl" of soup was a cup, 3" stems on spinach in the spinach salad. The service was adequate. Even the spectacular view and good wine list can't justify the profit margins.

The food, service and choices were great. Also a nice full bar for those with alcohol needs. One of the most outstanding natural views on the planet if you get a table on the seaside window; worth the wait or ask when you make reservations. A very special place for special occasions. My only star deduction was for price. It... More

We showed up without reservations a half hour to closing time on Sunday night. They were out of the vegetarian zucinni dish, but made my girl friend a custom spinach dish instead. It was fantastic. Great cooks! We shared a lobster wonton app. 5 pieces of fresh made wonton with lots of cheese and a little lobster with a cheesy... More

Went here on a Saturday night for Happy Hour 15 minutes after the place opened and it was already jammed so be advised. Managed to snare one seat at the bar which my supervisor took and I stood which felt good after spending 6 hours in the drivers seat. Laura the bartender is a wiz as well as gracious and... More

This place fills up fast, so reservations are a must. Bar seating is limited, but you don't need a reservation.
