So...I like trying restaurants that get decent reviews, especially when I'm in unfamiliar neighborhoods. I found this Chinese restaurant called "Nice China Cafe" in Torrance that had pretty decent reviews. I'm always on a quest for the best Soy Sauce Chicken and they showed a picture which looked pretty yummy so I figured, with a name like "Nice China", how... More

This is a small unpretentious cafe in the westerly PCH face of this large mall at Crenshaw and PCH. It is not a destination restaurant, but it has good authentic Chinese food, good service and fair prices. It is commonly used by the Asian population of the South Bay. I use it often.

The atmosphere is pretty much non-existent but the food is simply outstanding, so tasty and fresh, always. So much so that we drive over 20 miles each way about twice a month to enjoy their Kung Pao chicken or shrimp, their fish with soft tofu and black bean sauce, and their pan fried noodles. Usually, I grab an extra order... More

This little Chinese restaurant is in the shopping center at the corner of PCH and Crenshaw just down from Trader Joe's. We figured the food must be good cause there were only Chinese people eating in there. The menu is basic and the service is good for a Mom and Pop sort of place. Just basic, solid Chinese food.

Nicely appointed, small intimate space, convenient to PCH and Crenshaw. Excellent service. The name of the restaurant is quite apt.

When I'm in town, my relatives and I go here at least once a week. The food in this small restaurant is fresh, always cooked to order by Ricky, the owner chef, and very authentic. With enough advanced notice he will cook special dishes like roast suckling pig, steamed Korean melon stuffed with fried black bean spare ribs, whole fish,... More

I love several chef's specialties there: water boiled fish, baked duck, bitter melon beef, and tofu salty fish with diced chicken. Some other lunch special dishes are delicious and authentic. I don't like the Americanized Chinese dishes--the meant are deep fried and seasoned with tons of sources. I usually go there with my Chinese female friends who know the real... More

Very tasty authentic chinese food. All the food taste very fresh. Everything we have had on the menu has been very good so far and we have been there five or six times so far. Appears to be small family owned restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

No MSG! Definitely the place for me. I usually order the beef stew with flat rice noodle soup. Every dishes I have ordered there taste great! except... the roast duck. It used to have really great roast duck, the best around Torrance; however, it changed its quality and the duck no longer look roasted; it looks deep-fried.
