Nice restaurant underground. Got to know of the place from a person we met at the Rabathi castle. Very hospitable staff and tasty food. Nice ambience. Parking in that area can be difficult. We had local steamed fish and a local preparation of Khinkali which...are smaller and had a small piece of meat in it as against mince.More

Very recommended. Great Georgian food, good Georgian wine. cheap, friendly. Only thing: no room for non-smokers :(

After eating in an another restaurant, we decided to try this one and it wasn't a disappointement. The food was "home made" and was delicious. Prices reasonable too. Polite staff. I do recommend.

We couldn't find a restaurant open Akhaltsikhe and two very sweet local girls took us here to the Old Dukhan. What luck! One of the best restaurants we found in Georgia. The staff was as nice as the girls and the food was beyond delicious!...A bit hard to find but worth finding. Enjoy! Thank you, Maria and Kate!More

In a town that doesn't seem to have too many places to eat this is the best bet and centrally located.. A good choice of local beers and wines but a more limited menu - but everything most reasonably priced. A good pub atmosphere but...unfortunately a lot of people still smoke!More

I wish I could take back ever eating here but I had read a review on here saying it was okay. So! There was a mason breaking bricks and scraping concrete through the meal. Some kind of dinnertime construction in plain view. There was a...nature program on the tv of animals attacked and bleeding and otherwise dying. I had to turn my chair around and basically couldn't sit at the table normally. The mushroom dumplings were empty. See photo. The potato ones were totally bland. The eggplant with walnuts was too salty to eat and a few herbs and spices missing. The khachapuri was empty. See photo. We were overcharged for our beers. It was a waste of time and put me in the worst mood ever. SKIP IT.More
