Was staying in Summerland for a few days while visiting my daughter & came upon the Summerland Beach Cafe. It is such an adorable place. Inside is so cute but we decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful morning! Everything on the menu looked amazing! All four of us had a different specialty omelet & each one was... More

On my way to San Luis Obispo, I stopped at the Summerland Beach Café for breakfast. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with cottage cheese and fruit. I've probably eaten at this place 40-50 times over the years and I cannot remember anything that wasn't very good or excellent. This was no exception. The service was efficient and friendly,... Excellent food and service. We had the hamburgers with fruit. The freshest and largest sliced fruit I've ever ordered in a restaurant. They don't serve water, so if you ask for water, they bring you a glass-bottled water and charge you 1.00.

We always stop here for breakfast before we get to Santa Barbara. The food is always excellent and the service is exceptional. They also have a frequent feeder program so if you buy 6 meals you get a free one.

Enjoyed the feeling of this cafe. Service was very good. The hot chocolate is super yummy - cinnamon in it I think. The eggs benedict were good - not he best ever but good for sure. My mom had the split pea soup and did not love it. Overall, there are large portions of good food.

Solidly good food, fair prices for the ultra upscale area we were in, and a breathtaking morning view of the Pacific Ocean greeted us as we set down for lunch.

The breakfast was fine, with eggs and sausage. The service was fine , too. For some reason, they charge a dollar for water. This water was shipped from Norway, so it's not clear what the point was. In any case, that outraged my buddy and he refused to go back the next day.
