After growing accustomed to excellent foood and service, today was a real disappointment. The service was off e.g no bread offering. I only had a salad for lunch and the lettuce was wilted. Not what I expected in a Caesar.

Make sure the first thing you order here is the truffle fries!! you wont be sorry!! Really nice lunch/brunch experience. The food was definitely fresh and very flavorful! The drinks were also very tasty! Also make a reservation!

Although I was dining alone, the ambient noise of the restaurant was quite bothersome. I had the halibut which was good, and the Apple Tart Tatin for dessert which was excellent. It seemed as if the restaurant did not have enough staff on hand, because...More

This was our first time dining at El Dorado. We loved it! We sat outside under an ancient fig tree. The restaurant was very busy, but the service still felt personalized and warm. The maitre'd made a point of stopping at every table. The food...More

We started with the truffle fries, which were excellent. The roasted veggie sandwich was also quite flavorful. My friend had the soup du jour, a tomato basil, that was quite flavorful. Only downside was the fact that our server was definitely more interested in the...More

This was our best dinner during a long weekend in Sonoma. First, and very important, every bite was delicious. We had the chicken and the salmon. So good! We had started with the beet salad and the ceviche, and my only warning is that the...More

In other places, this might be a 4 star restaurant; however, in this area of California the competition is steep! Let me begin by saying that if you're only in Sonoma for a few days stop clicking around and simply eat at Cafe Le Haye...More

Excellent dinner. We were a party of six, seated at the community table in the center -- great for people watching in both directions. Service was efficient and attentive. All meals were good -- vegetable risotto, pork belly app, truffle fries, pea soup, carabonara, and...More

Third time at El Dorado Kitchen, consistently excellent in all respects. Excellent, helpful and knowledgeable waitstaff will guide you to a "hidden gem" on the wine list. Paella on the menu and I can't eat mussels. Our waiter explained it was "a la minute" and...More

Description
Executive chef Armando Navarro's farm driven cuisine is a collection of earthy yet sophisticated, complex yet straightforward dishes that showcase the essence of seasonal produce. Chef Navarro sources his ingredients from local purveyors and nearby Sonoma farms, a commitment and dedication that is in line with El Dorado’s overall eco-friendly green initiatives.Navarro’s deeply satisfying cuisine can be enjoyed at El Dorado Kitchen. In the center of the main dining room, parties of up to 22 can gather around a 21-foot-long table fashioned from a single wood plank reclaimed from a Vermont bridge. This table is perfectly positioned to afford each diner a view of the artistic talents hard at work in the open kitchen. An outdoor courtyard allows diners to enjoy the beauty of Sonoma. Enjoy dinner under the fig trees and the clear Sonoma sky or take your lunch pool-side in your own private cabana or on one of the inviting day beds by the pool. We also offer casual dining in our lobby, nestled next to the glowing fireplace.
