This restaurant is a little out of the way from downtown Selma Ca. You better get there early for dinner, because the place gets crowded early. They have what they call a fancy burrito, which is one of the best burrito's that I have eaten. Fantastic service, and quality food.
The meal was better than average. To my taste, it was a little more commercial and less "homemade" than I like. Then again, I lived in Mexico for a lot of years and spent many evening in "Distrito de Rosa" Where all the great restaurants once were.
Excellent food. I Had a sampler of their Mexican food that was very filling and tasty. They have a very good Club sandwich which is a surprise at a great Mexican Restaurant. A bit of a Drive from Visalia but worth it!!!
This is THE restaurant to visit in Selma and every time relatives come, they insist on Sals. The fancy burrito and Joes special are great. The chips are a little dense and not my favorite, but the salsa is great.
Sals has been a local favorite for over 50 years. It has traditional Mexican cooking and it is consistent ". The food is freshly prepared and reflect the
Always great. Never disappointed. Yum. Have your refried beans basted with Chile con Carne. That always takes it up a notch. They have the best jack cheese. Which they are not stingy with. Humm mm melts cheese stinging across your plate.
We live in Oregon now and really miss Sal's. We were just there recently to visit and it is still so good. The tacos are stuffed with meat and cheese and the fancy burritos is so good. I wish we had a Sal's in Oregon!!!
