Have eaten at La Vera since 2001. Still the best pizza I've ever had in Santa Rosa. Great sauce (which is pretty much how I judge pizza), healthy amount of toppings, and good crust. Servers are friendly and efficient. If you want great pizza, you can beat La Vera!!!

Great pizza and pasta - especially their pesto dishes. I used to work close to downtown Santa Rosa and have been eating at La Vera, both lunch and dinner, for more than 25 years. They have maintained a high level of quality and creativity in their food, and its a welcoming spot to eat in.

Really good family friendly food in Santa Rosa. If you are looking for somewhere alone fourth street to have dinner with the family this is a good choice. Recommend the garlic knot bread. Delicious.

We had Chicken Parmesan (just ok) and Gnocchi with pesto sauce. The pesto was Very good but the gnocchi, though a generous size portion, was a little tough. Service was friendly and efficient.

We love the pesto pizza served at La Vera. Now living in Petaluma, we make a point of visiting a couple times of year. Some things never change and we appreciate the traditional and homey atmosphere of La Vera. Centrally located in downtown Santa Rosa, on warm evenings, there are options for dining outdoors.

Great appetizers and awesome pizza! Wait staff was wonderful and the whole experience was awesome. The crust was not thin and it was not thick. Right on the middle. The bread served with cheese was a surprise but a wonderful addition

Located in downtown Santa Rosa on 4th St is a sweet little Italian restaurant. They have brighten up the front with a cherry yellow overhang and there is an outside sidewalk eating area for warmer weather. They serve very traditional Italian cuisine (at least for California). The food tends to be a little heavy (lots of cream based sauces &... More

Came upon this restaurant while sightseeing in Santa Rosa. The food and service were excellent. The homemade clam chowder rivals anything available at Fisherman's Wharf in SF. We had the daily special-pulled pork sandwich-which was amazingly good coming from a pizza restaurant and was served with soup or salad.

Enjoyed a Margarita style pizza on a Sunday night. We were the last customers to walk in the door, but the staff was friendly and did not rush us. While the pizza certainly does not compare to NYC or northern NJ pizza, it did have delicious sauce, fresh cheese and a nice crust. Prices were extremely reasonable.

La Vera Pizza is an excellent restaurant. It has an outdoor cafe overlooking the main street in downtown. They serve authentic italian thin crust pizza. We tried their pesto pizza and it was delicious.
