The exterior doesn't look like much but the food is good and well proportioned. Staff very friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table. Service time was quick. Neighbourhood is a bit sketchy but you can see the parking lot from inside the restaurant if you want to keep an eye... More

We had lunch and ordered street chicken tacos and carne asada taco salad and a side of mexican rice. Tacos had grilled chicken breast with homemade spicy salsa, onions and cilantro. They have super tacos with cheese, guacamole and sour cream but I prefer my tacos authentic. The mexican rice is just like my grandmother makes. The taco salads were... More

In this part of Santa Rosa, a lot of the eateries may look "sketchy" though the true treasures lay within. Las Palmas is one of the best around when it comes to Tacos and Burritos, satisfyingly good! Two brothers run and cook at this place and if it seems busy, no worries you'll still get your food quickly. There is... More

Nice simple eating place. The food was very good. We did not leave anything on our plates. Nice families coming and going. Staff very nice and friendly.

Although some picky people may disagree, I found the food here to be quite delightful, the chips tasty and crunchy and the flavors of the massive chimichanga to be as good as authentic. Service was good, prompt (we were a large group of about 12) and all done with a smile. There is plenty of parking in the lot in... More

After reading all the great reviews, I decided to try for myself. Full disclosure-on an absolute basis, I find that most Mexican food in this town is mediocre, at best. I ordered two taco especiales, one chicken and one carnitas. They were beautifully presented, but both dishes were overly salty and the meat was overcooked. It was a Monday and... More

My wife and I eat here often. Great food, good service, reasonable prices. And it's convenient to Juilliard Park and the A Street arts district.

After a long day of travel my wife and I were absolutely starving. We saw reviews on bistros and fine dining in the area but we wanted something quick with substance. Las Palmas was quick and packed substance. The salsa they give with the chips was smooth and smokey, A+. I ordered a tortas and the jalapeños on top of... More

We were hungry having just finished a 9 mile walk along Santa Rosa's "rails to trails". Parking wasn't an issue, although I can see how it might be given that it share a parking lot with The Naked Pig. We ordered the Cochinita Pibil. It was delicious and large enough for 2 to share and feel more than satisfied. We... More

Awesome, authentic food at bargain prices - excellent value vs. cost - in a simple, no frills dining experience.
