I had the vanilla latte with my beignets followed by Shrimp & Grits. Husband had regular latte followed by Biscuits & Gravy with an Andouille sausage. The food was phenomenal! We sat outside and Lea took great care of us. True southern comfort food served in a beautiful atmosphere.

This is Cajun in a setting that combine's a coffee bar/bakery with sit-down dining for brunch, lunch & dinner. The beignets [Cajun pockets or donuts] are fabulous and I would stop by just to have one (allow 15-20 in as they are made fresh-to-order). I like the fried green tomatoes, pain perdu, shrimp po'boy (unique fillings inside a French Baguette),... More

A gem in downtown Santa Paula. French toast, and Eggs Benedict with ham, were wonderful. Great coffee. Interesting that every dish comes with sliced tomatoes. Excellent service. I loved the old photos on the walls. I assumed they were of Santa Paula residents, but I forgot to ask. Worth a trip to Santa Paula just to eat there.

Great Food, Great Service and reasonable prices. The only problem I have here is trying to pass up the bakery counter. No matter what you get it's delicious. Just wish I could try one of everything when I go in there. I moved from Santa Paula and really do miss this place.

We ate a Rabalais Bistro on a Saturday evening and it was surprisingly not crowded. The catfish and pork chop meals were quite good. Service was excellent.

I have eaten most things on the menu and it's all good, except Catfish. It tasted real fishy, which isn't supposed to happen. The last time we were there, the waitress drove us nuts interrupting our conversation after food had arrived at least 4-5 times. Totally socially unaware which is not good for that job. Service is usually good, but... More

What a great find on Main Street in Santa Paula. Heard about this Cajun restaurant from a friend and thought we'd stop on our way home from Ventura. We enjoyed the large bowl of shrimp/sausage gumbo followed by a large po by pulled pork sandwich (packed too full to eat without a knife and fork) and a delicious chicken corden... More

We stayed four days in Santa Paula..ate here twice which is an anomaly for us as we usually try to hit as many places as possible with a small town. If you like truly prepared southern cuisine from third generation southerners this the place for you. The portions are huge, you won't finish, no matter what you eat. We had... More

We go to Rabalais once each week for a nice hanging out coffee time with friends. Lattes are always delicious (snickerdoodle latte is my favorite), scones are yummy, beignets awesome! Have gone for other meals too and consistently great (and we are super picky!). Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area.
