My son and I put our name on the list for breakfast and sat in the chairs outside to wait. I went inside to see how far down our name was on the list and saw that it had been crossed off the list. I told the owner who had been calling names from the list what had happened. Instead... More

I had the eggs benedict, needless to say I won't have it anywhere else, the hollandaise was different in the most amazing way.

This is your classic mom-and-pop diner. I'm a frequent patron of the weekend brunch which features endless combinations of eggs, veggies, meats, and cheeses, all of which can be made into an incredible burrito. The back patio is vine covered and adorable, the service is great. All in all, an incredibly comforting and delicious restaurant, highly recommend.

Snug Harbor has been in business since World War 2. It is a funky, small coffee shop with a few booths and a counter. Just terrific food! Homey, unpretentious with all-day breakfast and good lunches too. I had the eggs benedict, husband had a brie and avocado omelette, both were great. On another visit, I had the cobb salad, which... We sought out this small, unassuming cafe for breakfast, after reading reviews on TA. And we were happy we did! Great breakfast menu, with lots of variations on eggs and pancakes. I had French Toast, for which you could select real maple syrup for 50 cents more. We also ordered an egg dish, which came with the usual fried potatoes,... More

My son, a Ucla student, turned me on to this great diner. We sat on the back patio, which was charming and quiet. My son had the 'Uncle Zeke's Scramble,' which was described on the menu as, 'meat and more meat'. It was delicious. I had the "Zwiebel' hamburger, also delicious. The service was great. Snug Harbor is a true... More

Classic breakfast diner style food. Excellent old style breakfast in a old fashioned 50's type of diner. Food is pretty good, but not cheap and tends to be quite crowded with a long wait on the weekends, and of course no parking anywhere in site

Treat yourself to a step back in time & eat at a real authentic diner - nothing more / nothing less. Snug Harbor is old fashioned & loves it, from the Nauga covered counter stools to neat slide in Nauga booths. Nothing pretentious here, plus the menu does not disappoint. Go with typical Diner fare like bacon & eggs, scrambled... More

Excellent breakfast on the rear patio. Grilled potatoes were excellent. Eggs were perfectly prepared. Rear patio offered great seating. Drinks were expensive (served by the can so no free refills)

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
