I made an online booking about 4 months ago and was invited to make any special requests (which I did). So having done that we arrived in Santa Monica a few days early, so i called in to say hello and check on my booking. I was told that any special requests were at their discretion, the manager decided on... More

The location is amazing but the food and services are just ok. I probably wouldn't go back as there are much greater places to try.

Fantastic service in the high top bar area. We didn't have reservations (should have). We enjoyed all the food we tasted. Total bill for 3 appetizers main meal and 2 drinks was around $100. Nice view off of the pier. I believe that they validate parking for their ramp. Good people watching.

This great restaurant was recommended to me by a local. View and food are great but the best thing was the exceptional service.

For those who want the sights and sounds of Santa Monica with pretty good food, bring them to the Lobster. Service is right on with attentive staff and we did not have to wait for the food. Prices of course are a bit high but the location is a fun place to be. Two of my party ordered Lobster which... More

Fresh seafood, gorgeous view, and you can walk the Santa Monica Pier after. I'd suggest UBER'ing it, due to the lack of parking around - but the service and ambiance was perfect! We had an elder gentleman as our waiter and he was so attentive, friendly and informative. I highly recommend this restaurant - and of course, make reservations if... More

The restaurant has beautiful views to the ocean, being located in the center of Santa Monica. The food was attentive served and good quality, but, for the main course the quantity was really big. For example, the New York steak can be shared by two persons. The service is fast and I noticed that they have a parking area.

A friend brought us to this restaurant. There were five adults and one tween. We were all equally happy, although I'm not sure this is the best place to bring a child. The adults were super happy with food choices and cocktails. Service was great.

View was great. Meals were excellent--tuna, halibut and salmon all great choices. Interesting mix of flavors that complement one another well. Service very attentive. Nice selection of craft cocktails, wine and beer. Walk on pier after dinner was treat as well!

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
