Our Chinese friend, Mark, invited us for dinner at Hop Li Seafood Restaurant, and he was confident that we would love the experience. I must admit that when I heard the name, I had some trepidation about accepting the invitation. I make it a point to read the Health Department's weekly list of restaurant closures for code violations, and Chinese... More

Went with a group of friends and tried multiple dishes. There were no complaints from anyone. Many consider themselves aficionados of this food genre. I noted no problems with cleanliness. Service was adequate albeit far from attentive.

It was my second time here. First time I wasn't impressed much as I couldn't really feel the taste of my seafood dish. But colleagues of my friend go to this place once in a while, so he persuaded me to go to this restaurant and to taste the eggplants that he liked last time he was here with the... More

A very pleasant sit-down restaurant that knows how to please. Hop Li's family style portions are huge and served fresh. The Buddha's Feast vegetable platter is my absolute favorite with fresh bok choy, baby corn, a variety of mushrooms, carrots and tofu. You can order stir fried or steamed. A traditional style, affordable restaurant with efficient service.

I had never been to this location...nice and clean little strip mall. Easy night parking either in the lot or street. Greeted pleasantly and seated immediately. ( I had heard negative stories about service here--- glad we had a positive experience! Service was good with a smile. Food was reasonably good for the westside as well as quick. We had... More

Had my Son's post-graduation meal for 10 people here. I am a San Francisco native so I'm somewhat picky about Chinese food. Service was adequate, don't expect 4-5 start service at any Chinese restaurant not named PF Chang's, most Chinese people only value taste and cost. Honet Walnut prawns was very good, as was Crispy Chicken and Sauteed Tender Greens.... More

You know you gonna get genuine Chinese seafood when they have cold jellyfish on the menu. This place serves up fine chinese cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood. The noodles are fresh and the veggies are crisp. The meat is prepared well and it all works.

A really good restaurant. Straight-forward and delicious traditional Chinese food. The best Honey-Glazed Walnut Shrimp you will ever enjoy. I watched one table of 8 people today order 5 orders of it--I guess they liked it. And they use the best vegetables, cooked just right. Enjoy.
