We had a quick 3 day weekend in Santa Barbara, and due to travel from the East Coast, time change, and wine touring, we really only had one good night in town. As it was quite rainy the weekend we were there (highly unusual for Santa Barbara) we stayed in on Saturday night and enjoyed Rodney's at the hotel. We... More

I've been twice to Fess Parker's Rodney's Steakhouse in the past two months. The first time, the steak tasted so good and was cooked on point, that I thought I could switch from Holdren's, my usual steak place in Santa Barbara, to Fess Parker. And I I did, I went back a week ago, asked for exactly the same New... More

We traveled and were tired but wanted a nice dinner. We thought we would stay on property for dinner. It felt like an extra meeting room converted to a restaurant. Very large and "quite bright". Service was fine and food was mediocre. I heard they had best cuts of meat in town and being a steak person I hope this... More

I visited here recently with my wife, we're both steak fans (me especially) and had been looking forward to trying this place out. Man were we disappointed.... The place it very nice, well laid out, kinda modern but nice. The menu was on the small side, but no big deal, they still had a nice steak selection. We ordered, (the... More

Visited this restaurant whilst staying in the hotel. The food was beyond expectations. My husband and I ordered the cheapest "hanging steak" it wasn't hanging, but the flavour was incredible. The sauces were lovely and my husband and I shared two sides between us which was plenty. Service was fantastic, only downside was there was very few people in there... More

My wife and I went to Rodney's one early evening. We found the surrounding very comfortable. My wife ordered the Cod and I ordered the Prime Rib. Both dinners were fantastic my wife said the Cod was excellent and my Prime Rib was done to "melt in your mouth" perfection. Our salads were excellent and the portions were generous enough... More

It was a week night and very quiet in the restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious.

When we checked into the Fess Parker we were told that Rodney's would be a good choice for dinner. We did not want to drive anywhere and we were ready for a nice dinner. We had excellent service and the atmosphere was sophisticated. We ordered 2 kinds of oysters (both delicious and unique) for our appetizer, then had the most... More

Rodney's is one of two restaurants in the Fess Parker Doubletree. I ate here after traveling all day to the West Coast. The place was completely empty so I had it to myself. The jazz music was a very nice backdrop for a classy place. The steak was excellent. The wine list is quite extensive, but I can honestly recommend... More
