This is about as quaint and authentic an Italian restaurant there is in Santa Barbara. This is what I would call a neighborhood gem. I love their pasta and risotto entrees with a variety of Italian wines to choose from. They also have delicious Italian sandwiches, cheeses, appetizers, desserts, candy and gelato! My favorite though is their breakfast. There are... More

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner her along with the great vibe created by our waiter and the local clientele. My vegetable lasanga was one of the best I have ever had, and my wife really enjoyed her lemon ricotta ravioli. Don't be fooled by the casual atmosphere, this is good food served by people who care.

The food is consistently good and authentic so it's easy to recommend with confidence. We go early for lunch and avoid most of the crowds. They are open for breakfast and for dinner.

Great local neighborhood special place. Small and cozy with wonderful menu full of Italian specialties. I had the evening special that included salmon on risotto that was extremely tasteful. Full Italian wine list including a full bodied Chianti by the glass. Very attentive staff inspired by a true Italian owner who pays attention to detail. Absolutely one of our favorites.

Superb food which was closer to what we've had in Italy than anything else outside Italy. The service was lovely and genuine. We sat outside under the heaters for a quiet romantic evening. Wines all Italian and not cheap but worth it for delicious Chianti Classico. So glad our motel recommended this great place!

We visit Santa Barbara, every year for a couple of months. The food here is inventive and wonderful. Our sevice today was superior and far exceeded our expectations. What ever you do, don't miss the desserts. We were telling the waiter that we hadn't tasted such wonderful pasteries since our trip to Italy. We then found out that they fly... More

This is a rather small place on the far end of State Street so is easy to miss, but there is plenty of parking in front. The interior is also not too impressive but is well filled with smiling diners. An encouraging sign in any eatery. There is a good menu with various interesting choices. Lynda and I decided on... The dining area was cramped and cold. We attempted to order Lasagna but were told it was unavailable. We choose two other options and one dish came out cold. I would expect this place to make their dishes from scratch but this made me wonder how a ravioli in Alfredo sauce could still be cold. The servings were small and... More

It's a clever idea, but prices are exorbitant. If you're unwilling to pay $6.50 for one mushy cannolli, then go around the parking lot to Renaud's where everything is freshly made.

This little restaurant is so welcoming and warm, decorated with family photos and favorite food containers of Italian delicacies. The spinach and ricotta cheese raviolis in lemon Alfredo sauce were unbelievably good, as was the cappachino.
