I gave Mesa cafe a high rating because of the staff. The food was good but, I was most impressed with the staff.

Came here with the family after Christmas for breakfast. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Food quality was good and portion sizes more than adequate. Wait staff very friendly

We went here for breakfast on Sunday morning. I asked the server if the pancakes with bananas had bananas cooked inside or if they were just plain pancakes with bananas on top. She said, "I think they're cooked inside". I ordered them despite the outrageous price for a short stack. The arrived with a banana cut up on top. When... More

I love the Mesa Café for breakfast and went there today with four friends. The food is always good and the staff super friendly. It's like eating in your own kitchen, except in my case the food tastes better! For Lunch, I have the Yater sandwich--always delicious. For dinner, I also love the Straw & Hay, which is Linguini and... More

I have been to the Mesa Cafe many times this past year. I tried a dish that was so delicious on one of my first visits that I order it almost every time I go for dinner now. It is the sizzling 1/2 chicken. It comes to your table actually still sizzling on the hot plate. The grilled vegetables and... More

I'm not a local, but you can definitely tell most of the people who come here are. The mid-range priced food is good (the house-made salsa is exceptional), the service is caring and friendly. The attitude is relaxed. They've also got a nice outdoor dining area that fills up quickly on the weekends. I like the Mesa Cafe best for... More

We've been going to Mesa Cafe for decades. The food is always good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff are friendly and attentive. They recently redecorated the restaurant with nice new booths, however they repainted all the walls a very drab cream color. Reminds us of a hospital. The place is too sterile looking without a splash of color... More

For Sunday brunch we all enjoyed a Mimosa cocktail with my husband ordering the homemade beef hash which looked like it was made from some type of pot roast instead of corned beef that he thought was so-so. My sister had the Chicken Tostada that she said was very good and her husband had the Chile Verde Omelette that he... More

A lot of people really like this place; I must have gone on a bad day. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs and, unfortunately, it has was not actual hash. More like a bit of shredded corned beef. No potatoes, no onions, nothing else. I have to say i was disappointed. Service and prices were perfectly fine.
