The food was good and the service was quick but just ok. No one was particularly friendly or welcoming. Again, I had no problem with the food... It was average basic Mexican/Tex mex fare at a reasonable price. I was disappointed overall with the experience though as they hold themselves out as a restaurant but really it's a loud bar... More

Good place to stay for dinner... funny! We ate outside (the AC inside is too low for european and the music a little loud). The mexican food is quite good while too hoy and spicy for a family.

I visited sharkeez a few times, it is not a real restaurant but the food there is really good. There was an Happyhour between 4:00pm and 7:00pm which was very funny alm the times! the restaurant is not cheap but you get somethin for you money.

Visiting Santa Barbara with my family I had two meals here. The first was Friday lunch and it was actually good. I had the ahi tuna tacos and was pleasantly surprised by the freshness; it was pretty darn tasty. The waiter was a bit slow but very nice so no complaints. I will say I noticed the menu i had... Nice bar for chilling and drinking... (Try the corona-rita) Sometimes also dancing. You can reserve a table for beerpong at night. During the day you can order good maxican food. The fajitas are great. Perfect for watching a sport event, there are like 50 tv all around the bar :) Enjoy! :)

Went to Sharkeez during Fiesta weekend in town, just a quick background on Fiestas it is a celebration of Spanish Days and is a big deal in town especially downtown where this restaurant is located. We got a table and generally during Fiestas different mariachis are allowed to come in and out of restaurants to play their music to the... More

Ordered some beer which tasted very watery and flat, so we went back to the bar to change it and the barmaid was very unfriendly and full of attitude. Food was good but everything is served on plastic! Plastic plates, cutlery, plastic cups for the beer?! The guy that served our food was very nice though and saved us from... More

Went there during the Solstice Parade and got there an hour before the parade started. Granted, it was crowded, but it took 1 15 minutes to get our food, and I was starving! We were seated at 11:00am by the hostess who gave us lunch and breakfast menus. She came back after a few minutes and said they weren't serving... More

We had drinks and dinner there while watching the NBA finals. A very fun atmosphere. Good drinks and Tex/Mex fare. The service was excellent. Tons of TV's with a great view from every seat.

I'm not giving it a 1/5 grade because of the experience we had, I can only invite you to read and make your choice after doing so. So, long story short: we found ourselves in Santa Barbara with a couple of friends while heading North and figured after the long drive, we would have some refreshments before trying to catch...
