As a local I have dined here many times over the years but there's been a noticeable decline with the flavor of the food (bland and spice-less), portion sizes and the service. More is not always better. There's few worthwhile Italian restaurants in Santa Barbara and another one bites the dust in my book. It's clear their target customers are... More

We went for lunch after touring UCSB. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great (I personally recommend the lasagna). When ordering, the waitress was very frank about what was best and things she personally recommended. My granddaughter spilled an entire Italian soda on herself and the waitress cracked up with us and then got us towels to... More

Well, I never thought you could go wrong with pasta but, apparently you can. Sun dried tomatoes on the menu are apparently fresh tomatoes when on the plate. Garlic not finely chopped but thick cut and burnt to a crisp. Thin pasta for use in soups apparently passable as linguini. Most of the pasta dishes on the menu, apart from... More

I visited this restaurant with my 6 year old because it was listed as family friendly on Google, which it was. We were immediately sat in what was possibly the worst seat in the very empty restaurant. We were sat in a 2 top table next to the fire place, wedged between some red velvet booths and the bar. I... Delicious Italian food with normal portions and good prices. Patio seating is best for fresh air and SB atmosphere.

Brought the family here after wondering around downtown on a Saturday. We were told a table would be ready in 20 minutes, we waited over an hour. This seems to be the standard operating proceedure. Once seated, the table service was good and the pasta and salads were satisfying enough. My only complaint was the wait. If it will be... More

Among the seemingly missions of Mexican and seafood restaurants on State Street, it was a relief to find comfort food like this. The décor took some effort, so I appreciated that. The menu items were classic Italian, as was the preparation. Restrooms were in pitiful condition due to neglect, however, and the back dining area was cold. The front was... More

I last reviewed Pascucci on my last visit, which was about five years ago. We don't go downtown as often as in previous years, due to too many tourists and panhandlers, or we most certainly would have returned before this. For this lunch we walked up from Macy's (closing, probably because too many others don't go downtown as often as... More

My family and I had a wonderful dinner on New Year's Eve. There was no wait and bread was placed on the table immediately. We all enjoyed our pastas and pizzas. I would definitely recommend this italian eatery!
