Finding good espresso coffee has been the most difficult part of our one month trip in the US. Usually it is too weak and too hot. Coffee here was perfect. Same as back home in Melbourne. Great job.

Busy place but service was fast and very friendly. When I asked about bagel toppings I was recommended to try their almond butter and strawberry jam. I was a bit skeptical, but on top of a savory everything bagel it turned out to be a...More
Great coffee, outdoor seating, and fantastic pastries. You cannot go wrong. Happy with the consistently good mochas and friendly service.
Thank you so much for stopping in and for your review! Have a great weekend! Kim
The coffee was great! Wish I found the place sooner (we found it on our last morning in SB). Can't wait to try again next time I am in town.
Espresso was good- milk chocolate, caramel, and easy on the palate. Solid, but nothing extraordinary. From a barista's standpoint, I didn't see any distribution of the grounds once in the portafilter. This tends to be less consistent than tapping or distribution by hand.

Apologize for you wait time. Thanks for trying us out. Kim Owner Handlebar Coffee

Without even being in need of caffeine, based on a recommendation, Handlebar Coffee Roaster's became a noon stop for me on a visit to Santa Barbara. Even the barista art on the top of my almond milk macchiato was perfect. I will return!
