Had a lunch here and had the ceviche and fish tacos. The fish was super fresh, and was delicious. Dishes, were wonedrfully prepared, super tasty, and perfectly presented. Sorry we weren't here long enough to go back for more. Highly recommended by someone who loves to eat!

For Mexican, it's the real deal. Be prepared to wait a. It on line but it moves fast. They e got it down to a science. The food is superb. Very authentic. Inexpensive. A must go. Especially in light of all he other tourist traps in the area. Recommend highly.

Excellent Mexican food. I had the combo plate with tacos, rice and beans. All good. Fairly priced for Santa Barbara.

If you like Mexican you will love Los Agaves. The Milpas Stret location has the best Mexican food in Santa Barbara. De la vina ,Goleta are good too,but the kitchen on Milpas Street is far and above top notch. Service is also supreme.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Barbara. Love the fresh corn tortillas, the sauces on various dishes, and especially the pasilla chile dishes! Highly recommended.

Don't let the fact that it is counter service turn you off. The food was worth it. Lots of flavor. Watch out for the salsas, though. The hot ones are definitely spicy. We went there around 6pm on a Saturday night and had about a 5-minute wait.

I had the Agave Burrito, which was a seafood enchilada with shrimp and fish inside, and a creamy sauce smothered the enchilada---and it was so delicious! The salad that came with it had mandarin oranges and mangoes and the dressing was also unique and delicious. I liked this place so much I went to lunch 3 times out of 5... More

This is a stand-in-line and order kind of place. You go find a table and they bring you your food. So it's great for a quick bite. It's not a romantic dinner setting. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. They serve beer and wine only; the "margaritas" are virgin only and tasted phony (not real fruit juice).

Description
Surprised not to see this on your web site - many people (myself included) consider it the best Mexican Food in Santa Barbara. Service also excellent, at least when they are not crowded, which the often are! Just down the street from another outstanding (but simpler) Mexican Restaurant, La Super-Rica Taqueria.
