Stopped for breakfast on our way to Santa Barbara. Had the breakfast burrito, which was very good. The staff is very friendly & the service was quick.

All of the people were friendly and the food was fresh, as we ordered at the counter. We did not know what to expect but the food was excellent. We enjoyed sitting by the window and seeing all of the people eat outside for Sunday lunch. Both the red and the green salsas were made on-site and easily accessed. Some... More

This was my only choice of restaurants within walking distance of my hotel but I didn't mind a bit. I'm used to choosing Mexican fare when travelling in California and look forward to the change of pace. They have an extensive menu but I chose pork tacos and an enchilada. All was very good and filling... I would eat here... More

Travelling up the 101 to Monterey we were looking for somewhere different to stop. Dos Hermanos came up on TA so we thought we would try it. First impressions were not that great - it looks OK but no more. However, as highlighted in some other reviews the food was excellent - not fine dinning but really good Mexican at... More

Forget the chains and congestion on your next Central California adventure, this just-off-the-highway converted gas station is well worth a visit. In fact, forget the Paso Robles boring breakfast and go seven miles north. The sign says authentic Mexican-they are not kidding, this place rocks. Menudo: great, tamales; off the charts, chorizo con huevos unparalleled and more. If you don't... More

This was another place we found accidentally. We were hungry and thirsty. And this place just happened to be just off the interstate. We ordered at the desk. We needed some suggestions as their menu had items that we didn't know about. Food was cooked freshly for us. And it was delicious. The price was reasonable.

We ordered their chimichangas and they were fantastic. Not much atmosphere because this is a gas station converted into a tiny cafe with 5 inside tables. However, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the portions are huge and the food is fantastic. There is plenty of shady outdoor seating, but you probably won't want to be outside on... Should you ever get the opportunity to drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles or visa versa take time out for a lunch break at this place, you won't be disappointed. They have a pretty standard array of Mexican favourites & the place has a real home cooked feel about it. Everything is prepared on ordering so freshness is not... More

I always get the large carne asada burrito. I'll also get a container of red sauce and chile verde (which they add avocado chunks) and put that in there. Really, really good. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting an awesome burrito that will leave you satisfied.

A small restaurant that seems to be doing a big business! We stumbled across it accidently, and will plan to stop on our next trip down to SLO. The burritos were excellent....everything really fresh! There are only 6 small tables inside, but there is a patio area with more. While we were there it seemed that the door was revolving!... More
