Welcome to 1965 in the heart of San Marino. The food is exactly what you would expect, the customers all seem to know the staff, service is attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and predictable. Grilled tuna melt, pot pie, BLT, meatloaf, tall glass of milk. My grandmother would love it, and you know, I do too.

At the height of the evening there were seven covers, with settings laid for over one hundred diners. The menu is fairly restricted in its choice, but it is very cheap. At 19.50 the grandfather clock there struck midnight, and also, shortly after this, the restaurant began to close its shutters. I so wanted this place to be terrific and... More

This place reminded us of the older restaurants that serve home cooking. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was good. Nothing fancy. My tuna sandwich was abundant with tuna. The roast beef sandwich was piled high but my husband said the au jus was tasteless. They served a nice tray of assorted crackers. The bacon and eggs from the... More

After church this Sunday we visited the Colonial Kitchen for the first time...we were so very pleased with the excellent service and delicious food...we could not have asked for anything more. The French Toast was yummy, the bacon was perfect as were the scrambled eggs and coffee! Yummy!

We had party of 3 for late breakfast. Pancakes were great. Eggs prepared exactly like we ordered. The service was outstanding. The restaurant has charm and is very clean. Lots of local diners from the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Staff and owners are always friendly. Prices are reasonable. Decent selection of food items. Nice glass of wine for about $5. Quiet inside with ample seating. Easy parking. I go there often.

I went through a time warp today walking into this restaurant, it felt like the late 1960's, yep that's about the right decade. The restaurant has been around since the 1940's. We were seated immediately by a nice Asian gentleman. The atmosphere brought me back memories when dad and mom would drive their gas guzzling faux wood sided behemoth of... More

Good place for breakfast. If you are a big eater go with the Titan breakfast. They fresh squeeze their orange juice to order.

Having been here a few times I can say the experience is very consistent. Food is fresh, good and exactly what you want from an original diner. Service is incredibly friendly. We have only eaten breakfast here and all three times and it has been great each time! We also had seen that one of the scenes from the final... More

I like the low key atmosphere of this restaurant. Attentive wait staff and plain old good food. My daughter had already eaten lunch at school, but decided to try a couple spoons of their clam chowder. She found herself eating it all! It was really good!! Very lean corned beef--that's my measure of a good sandwich restaurant. All the meals... More
