I was so happy to see George's was still around, just the other side of the street now. Yes it's been awhile since I've been there. Glad to know nothing changed in the move. It is so worth it if you want a burger to go here.

I've been eating at George Burgers for 35 years and this place rocks. I became addicted to their fare when I was but a lad attending Palomar College in 1981. A school chum sent me to George Burgers with this remark: "George Burgers is an institution - their burritos are the size of my forearm!" . Well, it's true that... More

George's Burgers is off the beaten path compared with the majority of businesses in San Marcos, but strategically located near Palomar College. Their burgers and fries are the best we've had in North County. They also have many different items on their menu including breakfast, gyros, and chicken Sandwiches. We just haven't tried those since their burgers are so good!... More

Back in the 90s we used to eat here when they were in the old place. Being back in the area I had a craving for their burger and onion rings. Probably won't go back again. The burger was cooked almost dry and rings weren't crisp, they were dripping in oil. In fact, they had kind of a funky taste,... More

This standalone burger joint is quite a find! Fresh burger with cheese, a huge helping of crispy fries and a soft drink cost $8.80 with tax. I wanted some lemon or lime in my drink and there were only whole limes, I was promptly presented with a freshly-sliced lime. I had asked for my burger to be cut in half.... More

This was a perfect find on the way to LAX from Santa Monica. I would recommend stopping in and getting a burger. The fact that you can get a tasty, fresh burger for $2.99 is rare in 2014. I went with the Bacon Avocado Cheese Burger and couldnt have been happier. Fast, quality food. The burger was juicy, the avocado... More

The food at George's was very good, especially the bergers and frys. I would recommend this resturant to families with children, great value.

Good burgers and fish sandwiches. Lots of fries with each order. The kids enjoyed the shakes as well. Friendly staff that remembered us after one visit.

We go to George burgers at least twice a month. When family comes to visit or just for lunch or dinner. They make the best Pastrami Sandwiches and Fish Sandwiches. The price is great and the sides like fried zucchini are amazing as well. Great price, great food.
