Ramos House is a very nice cafe in the old town part of SJC. Ala carte menu items are available during the week, brunch on the weekends. Food quality is very good and location is quaint. Great place to enjoy a morning meal in a quiet (except for the trains) setting.

We read about this historic restaurant, which is located on Los Rios street, in the historic district. As my wife wanted a place with some local colour and ambience to end a wonderful morning at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, we thought we would give it a try, given its reviews in Trip Advisor. At first glance the house- cafe seemed... More

Atmosphere is incredibly charming. Every inch of Ramos House is Instagram worthy. Service was excellent. Saturday brunch was delicious (beignets and bacon scramble with rocket & apple fried potatoes; biscuit and iced tea) and worth every penny. My only wish is that the jelly jars he serves the iced tea and other beverages in are small. I asked for a... More

We visited on our way to the Mission. The Bloody Mary's were good and apple cinnamon beignets were good too. I have had bigger and better bloody Mary's for the price. It's a very small, quaint place. If you are not adventurous in dining, I don't think you would enjoy eating here.

Stopped in based on a Yelp review on my way back to San Diego. Was not disappointed. It was a pre fix brunch and while I thought the $40 price tag was a bit steep at first, it was completely worth it in the end. Can't wait to go back to SJC for lunch at Ramos House Cafe and to... More

If you want a place with great ambience, great food and charm, this is the place. Pick a time that is not peak time i.e. weekend brunch. Kick back and enjoy the music- vinyl records

This is THE place for a fabulous, gourmet breakfast in a quaint setting, with great service, at a reasonable price. It's located in a neat area to stroll through and enjoy.

We were late in the afternoon so maybe everyone was tired? The food is good, though I don't think great. Lot of money for brunch. It is a beautiful spot, I happened to see a couple of ladies complaining about something and the owner just brushed them off. Not great customer service.

Thank Jan L
