Pros: Great music! The food we ordered (Jambalaya and Crawfish pasta) was delicious. The outdoor heaters were greatly appreciated! Cons; Small parking lot. Had to park down the street in a very low lite neighborhood. Tall bar tables are great for tall people, not so much for average height people. Our chins rested on the table. Small dance floor with... Went for late lunch and wasn't impressed. Nothing terrible but nothing stood out. Average veg burger, average wings and poorly done Jambalaya. Good selection of micro beers. I'm sure the bar is good with the bands and such and other patrons spoke of the great music. Would return for the music.

Great New Orleans style. Food, drinks and music makes your day. Bring cash as you will need it if you want some drinks outside. Food is family style so get ready for big plates. Sausage bread is really good.

We were recommended to have lunch here because it was near the train station and said to be favored by some station staff. Boy, did we wish we'd gone further into town. The Po' Boy sandwich with pork was dry and tasteless. Ditto the one with turkey, which had processed meat, not the real thing. To be fair, the Cajun... More

Poor house never fails to delight the stomach and the soul. Such good food, damn good Nawlins style, authentic and unique po boys, tonight I had a calamari, entrees like shrimp and grits and the classics, jambalaya, red beans and rice, so good and reasonable. Anita of course plus local craft beers and everything in between. The setting is funky/fun,... More

We were on our way to see Carrie Underwood and stopped here for dinner. It was busy with a band and lots of people. We still found a great seat and got great food and service. We both had burgers and fries. We will be back.

This is one of my favorite places in the bay area. The food is outstanding, good selection of beers, and great live music.

Nice place to eat where you can find dishes for a bunch of persons or just for you. It's amazing how the taste is different. Besides that you can try good beer!

Went on a Monday evening, plenty of parking and seating in the porch area where live blues music was playing. Ordered at the counter, then given a pager when ready to pick up. I opted for chicken/sausage gumbo and it was delicious- service was quick and friendly. Would definitely return if ever in the area again!

Dropped in one week night a couple of months ago and it was open mic night. I would skip it next time in favor of when there is a live band. Live bands there are better. The food is just OK. Not wonderful and not awful. Most of the menu items are out of the fryer.
