This is the first time we've ever eaten at an Indian restaurant. My wife and I had the lunch buffet. Since we don't have a frame of reference, I don't know if this is quality or not. I Will say that the food was fresh. The staff wasn't helpful, and didn't explain what we were eating or offer suggestions. The... More

Me and family were visiting San Jose Museum of Art and Tech Innovation Center. We decided to go to an Indian Restaurant. Tandoori Oven is located at the Parallel Road to Tech Innovation Center and the distance is about 200 meters. We wanted to have a quick lunch as we had bought tickets for a show at IMax Theatre at... I love Indian food and it is hard to find good Indian food in my home state. So I was excited to try the Tandoori Oven. The garlic naan was fantastic but the rest of the meal was just average.

Very accommodating. Gave us plates and cutlery so we could go back to the hotel room and watch the Olympics! Quite tasty. Very spicy. Rice was fluffy. $50 for four with one samosa appetizer and four curries and three rices. Can sit in. Looks a little odd inside but it was busy.

This is a fast cafe-style place that serves tasty Indian food. You order at the counter on the way in and they bring the food to you. I asked for mine to be really spicy which it was not but that was OK as it tasted good. The garlic naan was very good. Has a good range of Indian beers... More

I came across this restaurant while craving for some Indian food. While the quality was not bad, the taste was below the mark. I hope they work on providing tastier food.

We ordered butter chicken, chole bhature, aaloo sag, chicken masala rap, raita today. Worst food I ever had in my life. Please save yourself from this. Bhature were swimming in the oil. Chicken was uncooked, aaloo sag was taste less. I am feeling so bloated after the meal. Moreover the waiter talks as if he would shoot u if u... More

The food may go well for someone trying Indian food for the first time or for Indian college students missing "ghar ka khana", but it was damn too disappointing for a bong foodie like me. I ordered keema naan and guess what , they stuffed the undercooked naan with salami instead of keema ( i.e. minced meet) ! The paneer... More
